Annie Burgess was born in New Jersey and moved to the West Coast of Florida when she was nine years old. Annie obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, and after finishing college in 2005, she enrolled in Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. Annie graduated law school in 2008 and became a member of the Florida Bar the same year.
Annie graduated law school Magna Cum Laude, and was a Dean’s List Scholar every semester. Annie served as the Manuscript Editor of Florida Coastal’s Law Review and was published in the school’s Law Journal.
Since 2008, Annie has focused her practice on civil litigation, with a focus on business disputes, consumer law and probate litigation. Annie enjoys helping people navigate their way through the litigation process to find solutions to problems that may otherwise seem overwhelming.
Annie understands that lawsuits can be time consuming, expensive and stressful. Because of that, Annie keeps her clients completely informed to ensure they understand the process and can be an integral part of their own case, rather than feeling like an observer without an understanding of the litigation. Often times, the solution to a client’s problem requires litigation and a trial, but when a case can settle without litigation, Annie always encourages her clients to explore all of their available options.
Annie lives in Atlantic Beach with her husband and son.
